Casa Da Menina

Located to the left, below and out of sight of A Casinha, the Casa Da Menina sleeps 6-7 people and is designed very much like A Casinha, with white walls and a tiled roof.  It is furnished similarly with antique furniture, comfortable beds and many examples of local craftmanship. 

The house is built on two levels:

• The ground floor has a large living room with a fireplace and wall-to-wall bay window looking out upon the coast. The recently renovated open-plan kitchen looks out upon a dining area that adjoins the living room. Like A Casinha, the living/dining room provides access to the outdoor terrace for dining alfresco.
• There is also a cozy little living area off the dining room with satellite TV and a traditional cast-iron stove that also looks out upon the terrace.
• The upper level, accessible via a gently sloping ceramic-tiled ramp, leads to a large bathroom with shower and to three bedrooms with lots of closet space and Wifi access—two of which are roomy double bedrooms with splendid views and the third of which is a smaller bedroom ideal for a child. Across from the bedrooms is a second bathroom with a combined bathtub/shower. 
• There is also a well-equipped laundry room that leads to the backdoor and a wide ceramic tile walkway with direct access to the parking area (ideal for bringing in your luggage). The walkway circles the house to the main terrace and steps that take you down to the pool.

The newly installed 5 by 10 meters, swimming pool and its sundeck were designed with special care for the environment. Surrounded by plants and shrubbery that blend in with the local landscape, you can swim or relax in the sun, take in the view of the southern coast and feel at one with nature.
